Buttercup Bakery Cafe - Morro Bay

I got there close to closing time so the counter person was not very happy! I asked what the vegan items were as there were no labels. She reluctantly pointed out one baked good. I left without buying anything as she was focused on closing the shop. The place is super small and not organized. I cannot speak for what the food tasted like, but I did notice that nothing was labeled vegan and most items contained a variety of different meats. Best not to get there right before closing time perhaps my experience would have been different.

The owner was a lot more knowledgeable than the first server... She helped us figure it out. We took the open sandwiches, with avocado and lots of vegetables, to eat later on our trip.

There are just a limited number of vegan options available, and the dishes I tried were quite hard and dry.
