Nice restaurant. The service was great. The food is quite good. The tortilla chips are hearty and crunchy good. I thought the decor to be cheerful, festive, and colorful. I had the pork tamale and stuffed green chile, which was good. I would recommend Chapala and will come again when in town. View all feedback.
So far this is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Morro Bay (and I swear there are dozens). We just moved here from OC and to be honest, we're used to much better Mexican food in general. But this is the best one in town and the food is good and plentiful and the prices are reasonable. Service is great. Love the salads that come with everything.
Food tasted great and we didn't need dinner that day. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and very personable service.
Hands down, the best Chili Rellano I have had so far.
