My meal here was my favorite among the ~5 Hispanic restaurants I tried in Morristown. Two of us shared Bandera (Steak was delicious and looked dry, but it was not at all, and the Chicharrón was physically easier to eat than at other places), mixed tripe goat stew (Goat was super tender) and pupusa beans. My meal here was my favorite among the five Hispanic restaurants I tried in Morristown. We shared the Bandera, which had delicious steak that, despite its appearance, was moist, and the chicharrón was easier to eat than at other places. We also had the mixed tripe goat stew, which featured super tender goat, and pupusa beans.
I visited the restaurant for the first time and unfortunately wasn't greeted when I arrived. There was only one other customer present at the time. However, the food was quite good.
Honestly, it was one of the best meals I've ever had! (Very authentic)
This is one of those hole-in-the-wall sites that just makes great authentic food. Your Pupusa is great and cheap. Their plates are large and tasteful, although a bit higher price, and their horchata is very refreshing. Two of us ate for $25 including tip.
Loved this place! The food was delicious and the ceviche in particular was a standout. Service was reasonably speedy and very friendly. It's not as fancy or showy as the other restaurants in the area, which I think is its own appeal.
