Service has always been slow: either not enough employees or else they are busy talking to each other. Today I...went straight to the bar to place my order seeing that no one was coming to my table but was told by the waitress to go back; she promised she would come to take it. I watched her pass by a few times and waived at her but nothing happened. After 15 minutes I simply left.

The food is generally just ok, though recent additions to the menu are good--a nice veggie burger and some lovely salads. The reason we keep returning...is the hot chocolate--it 's amazing. But the service is so poor. Today we were kept waiting for 10 minutes just for menus. Then another ten to take our drink order. Finally, the drinks appeared (not sure how hard a bottle of water and beer was, but it took ten minutes). We finally ordered and our burgers took over 30 minutes. When the owner delivered the burgers to the table, I asked for salt and pepper and I never saw him again. This place has such a f-you attitude towards its customers--and yet it stays in business. So, last time for us.

No, thanks. go to christian boillat for a delicious chocolat chaud season. (I still give him two stars because at least the actual chocolats chauds are consistently good.
