The place looked closed when we drove up the hill to the restaurant, but the lighted sign said, open, so in we went. The ambiance is somewhere between biker bar and sports bar. It 's a little rough. Bathrooms included. However, the bartender who was also waiting tables was great, and she recommended a lunch special: one half pound of pulled pork plus all the sides in the salad bar for ten bucks. It 's the best lunch deal I 've come across in a while. Sides and sauces were good, the pork tender. If the special goes away, they might lose a star, but if you 're hungry, give it a shot.
What a great find! The food was delicious and they also served Seafood, so a good option for those who don't eat meat but others in the group do. We all had something different, and each dinner was as good as the next. Service was attentive. You cannot go away hungry, there is food aplenty!
Absolutely amazing!!! The food was not only delicious but HUGE portions! And we had the best sever (Tristen) serving us! Y’all definitely need to try it and ask for Tristen if he is there! Very personable and sweet!
So although I live locally this was a first time visit and my husband and I called in our order we were told it will be a 20 minute wait well my husband left 30 minutes later to pick up a order for 3 people he was there over a hour waiting and they must've noticed his frustration they did offer him a drink while he waited and he declined! They also gave him two slices of cheese cake which was nice but we don't eat cakes or pies but it was a nice gesture so he finally got the food after being there a hour later when he got home my dad and I was waiting to eat I opened it up it looked very delicious my dad ordered the pork sliders and he couldn't eat it he said it was tough and he said the fried okra was soggy, I got the Jumbo shrimp and fried oyster plate with fried green tomatoes and okra I liked my fried oysters but the batter on the shrimp was fried green tomatoes was awful I was tempted to call and suggest a different batter than what they use just to help grow there business because we need a restaurant like this that makes everything my husband had fried pork chops he enjoyed it. This is just to help them correct a issue . If I decide to go back I will definitely try something different but it was not worth the $88.00 we spent
Very friendly staff, and very big BBQ fries. Had lleftovers for breakfast the next morning.
