However, I d... read more This is a lovely hotel and bar. The bar serves amazingly made classic cocktails and the service was good. My favourite was the watermelon daiquiri! However, I did run into an issue with not being let in because not everyone had arrived despite having a booking. I even called the hotel to try and connect me to the bar, since I was running late, and it could not be reached.

Cocktails are definitely very much on the high-end (average being about 19 and are very experimental indeed. Each is named and curated after a memory in life, like when you retired, or when your kids left home. For a cocktail that had something about first time falling off a bike, there was a sorbet that tasted like blood. Honestly it was ghastly lol. I get the concept and I like it, but I just wish the cocktails were actually tastier.
