We came here to taste a truffle menu (between... read more El Mesón del Pastor is a restaurant located in the old town of Morella, in the North of Castelló Region, in Spain. We came here to taste a truffle menu (between 15th of January and 15th of March approx. Is possible to eat a truffle menu in some of the restaurants of the town) and it was excellent. We taste 7 dishes (all with truffle) and 2 desserts. Some dishes were truffled foie tartare, octopus with truffle, artichoke with cured ham and truffle, hen soup truffled, hen cannelonni truffled or typical meat truffled. Really great! Also we drank a red wine, which was recommended by staff and yes, it was excellent also. The place is ver well decorated and all staff was very friendly with us. Very recommendable restaurant!
