Go there regularly... read more Love the A1 bakery in Sydney Road, Brunswick and have been going there for years. So was excited when they opened this franchise in Essendon. Go there regularly and not sure what's gone on with the A1 part of the franchise - because they've now deleted the A1 from their advertising and are just the Essendon Bakery now. The food is good - not as great as the original and more expensive. But it's handy and the staff are friendly.

I again chose the spinach and lemon pide. There are many other kinds of pide, a wide choice of salads and also felafel and kofte.
