What a fantastic restaurant! The service was wonderful, and the staff were really friendly. The restrooms were clean and tidy, and the fish was perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning! View all feedback.

I love coming to Moree, the locals, the pools, the sights and the food is amazing there! None better than fishabout, the fabulous staff and amazing food leaves all starving for more! I crave fishabout burgers they’re sooo scrumptious and the slices and cakes are to kill for! I hear through the grape vine that there’s been somewhat of a staff change which I personally and so happy about, the last time I dined in at fishabout I was rudely greeted and served terribly by an evil looking red headed woman and her cooking was just as horrid as her but I’m glad to hear that she had since quit her job and I (along with many locals, I believe) are so glad that fishabout is back to its glory, keep it up to all the great staff at fishabout! Your boss must be so pleased with all of you and also a massive shout out to the younger aboriginal man who works at fishabout I see there has been other good reviews written about him and I have to just say every time he serves me he knows not only how to cook an amazing meal but he also knows how to make sure you feel like you and your order is the only thing that matters and I love that in customer service, he is kind, caring and pays great attention to detail and I love how he personally is breaking so many stereotypes inflicted upon aborigines by working hard, being mannerful, and being the great young man that he is, keep up the amazing work it must be so difficult to not only be the only indigenous person in the work force but also a young member of the LBGTQ community and working in such a harsh town, 200 rounds of applause to that brave young man also cannot forget about the other amazing staff there you’s are so fabulous and the food is even better my one and only cretic to the shop would be a nice face lift on the interior to modernise it a little other than that don’t ever change a thing fishabout, love you guys and I cannot wait to be there soon and enjoy those gorgeous burgers and succulent fish. Highly recommend the whiting. The batter is light but complementary to the fish. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Don't expect speed. Be prepared to wait for your meal. This is due to the popularity of the food.. So far I'd rate it the best fish and chips West of Coffs Harbour
Awesome food great service , will be my food stop for my trips to and from Brisbane from now on.
I was hesitant to walk into this shop as one didn't even look open and 2 just looked shady, BUT CAN GARANTEE AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE, i was pleasantly surprised when I walked inside the shop. Customer service fabulous and the food was god dam delicious.
