We came here to enjoy the planes, have some drinks, and indulge in dessert. It's a lovely spot with a cozy atmosphere from the fireplace.
It appeared to be a charming local pub in Moree, and it wasn't very busy on a Tuesday afternoon. The outdoor areas were nice, and there was plenty of seating both inside and outside. The beer selection on tap was somewhat limited and mostly featured common options. However, the menu offered a wide variety of meals. I ordered the wedges, and I was surprised by the generous portion, which came with plenty of sour cream, sweet chili sauce, bits of bacon, and cheese. I definitely didn't need dinner after that! Next time, I'll have to try more substantial dining options.
The food was enjoyable; the steak was cooked quite thin, but that was fine since I prefer it well done. However, I didn't feel it was very safe in terms of Covid precautions. There was a check-in code at the entrance, but they didn't verify vaccinations, and some staff members wore their masks below their noses, which didn’t seem ideal, especially since Moree was seeing a rise in positive cases during my visit.
Good Ambiance place with lots of delicious foods but please do something for these flies. Its literally everywhere and even inside the dining area.
