Feedback
The deck is quite pleasant, but the food is mediocre and significantly overpriced. My goat cheese ravioli was enjoyable, but at $40, I expected more than what resembled a five-minute packet pasta from the supermarket, with some pieces stuck together and tough. My husband's fish and chips were very disappointing—while the flathead tails were good, the batter and salad left much to be desired, all for the bargain price of $45.
"Outstanding service, delicious food, and a fantastic staff. The quality of the food and drinks is exceptional, with service rated at 5 stars and the location also earning a perfect score. Overall, this hotel offers great value for the experience."
I think it was the manager who approached me and suggested that I could pay the lower price for the risotto and the roasted vegetable fettuccini. In the end, I paid $33 for a bland dish that I didn't even order and only managed to eat half of it. I hesitated to write this review, but I feel compelled to share my experience because feedback is important, and I woke up feeling quite annoyed about it. I was really looking forward to the meal, and $33 is not an amount I can easily disregard. I wouldn't have brought this up at all if the substitute dish had been enjoyable, but it was just dull. Great vegan food isn't hard to create these days, and it should be a staple on menus, especially in a place like Mordialloc. I have no desire to call the manager to discuss this again; I’ll just consider it a learning experience and remind myself to speak up louder next time. Everyone makes mistakes, and that’s okay, but this is my honest review. Rating: Rooms: 5 Service: 2 Location: 5
It's a beautiful place next to the river, the food is good, but the services could be better as it is not easy to get the attention of waitresses when needing something. The staff are friendly though. Nearby activities: Walking along the beach, plenty of water activities Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view
