A huge fav of mine, even better bc it's local. Love the tapas menu, loads to choose from. I'm a big fan of the antipasto platter the cheese board. Gluten free options available too which is always good, especially for me. The Gluten free bread is sourced from Rustic bakery, also in Mordialloc and the finest quality I've had for a while. I go to Rustic for my own gluten free needs since finding them via Side Street. Staff are well trained and full of character. Cocktails are an absolute must! My fav being the Espresso Martini. Upbeat funky tunes play through the sound system and live music is on at least once a week. Side Street is perfectly decked out with indoor and outdoor dining, a courtyard out back for some air (or the smokers) and plenty more bench seats plus tables chairs outside. So thrilled this funky little bar came to Mordialloc, just what we needed. No need to travel inner city now.. If you want something more substantial to eat, just pop next door to their sister venue Main Street. Side Street also cater for functions and the ambient lighting inside provides a warm welcoming environment. Cosy for drinks or anything really. Highly recommend.
