It was a public holiday so many restaurants were closed. However, we came upon the Grande and were enticed in by the menu and by the proprietor who made our mouths water with her descriptions of the menu choices. Il locale si trova in centro a Lugano, arredato in modo sobrio. Forse aggiungere un po' di colore. Le pareti a righe non entusiasmano. Piatto del giorno non particolari. Ho provato la zuppa toscana: buon piatto. Servizio nella norma. Toilette: pulite nulla da segnalare View all feedback.
We loved this experience. The chef greeted us.. we were quite early for dinner. There were several tables with people trying wines and beers... it is obviously a great place for young locals to meet each other. We asked if he could make past pomodoro......he made it from scratch, it tasted wonderful. The two staff introduced us to a new wine after we described what we liked, and it was really perfect. Nice, small, intimate place, but also good for groups. Great personal attention and vibe.
Lots of newspapers to read while you have your coffee. I don't like the fact that people smoke in the covered outside area. Obviously, it does cater to smokers. Generous sized coffees and pastries.
En el Quatiere Maghetti! Buen café! Atención normal! Café al volo! Pero bueno de verdad, buena ubicación! Si no vas, tampoco es que te perdes mucho.

Una delle migliori tazzine di caffe in Ticino penso proprio di averla degustata qui ...atmosfera ideale per sorseggiare e assaporare lentamente una pausa di lavoro
