Ruby Sun Chinese
Description
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag at Ruby Sun**
Dining at Ruby Sun offers an experience that swings between delightful and disappointing. While some rave about the flavorful wontons and accommodating service tailored for dietary restrictions, others lament bland dishes and greasy meals that seem to lack authenticity. Prices are generally seen as reasonable, yet the quality can be hit or miss, with complaints about excessive batter and underwhelming portions. Despite the inconsistencies, a few loyal patrons appreciate the fresh ingredients and plan to return, hoping to find more of those "yummy" delights that have made them regulars. Ultimately, Ruby Sun may be worth a visit, but be prepared for potential culinary pitfalls.

The best wontons I've ever had. Lemon chicken and Satay beef were delicious and goes great with the special fried rice. Good serving size and we will be eating from there again
Love eating and service. highly recommend the honey-when and deep roasted mars bars as they amazing .
I enjoyed the meal. I ordered a sweet dish and a dessert bowl, and both were delicious. Although I missed the buffet, I definitely plan to return in the future.
From Ruby Sun we paid $87 for 2 x short soup, 2 x Singapore Noodles a BBQ Pork, delivered via Uber Eats. EVERYTHING was dripping in oil, including the soup, it was not even Singapore Noodles the BBQ Pork was sickly sweet with the only ‘Vegetables’ being ONE slice of carrot. We ended up having boiled eggs for dinner. Never again! They get 0/5 Stars from me.
This hands down was the only decent very good Chinese I’ve tasted since I moved to Sunshine Coast and hinterland 4 years ago . I’ve found myself trying so many at a great cost and they all to me were at very highest 4/10 Awful and so expensive !!! Ruby sun good value for money Yummmmmmy Quick Good service Lovely fresh ingredients Chinese as I remember it!!! So so good highly recommended !!!!!!!!!
