It would greatly benefit the establishment if they brought in experienced professionals to train their staff. The food was good, but at the high price point, it should be expected. Despite visiting shortly after they opened and hoping for improvements, the service had not gotten any better when we revisited. I suggest seeking advice from competent managers in the northeast of Scotland, even if it comes with a consultancy fee. It would be worth it in the long run.

Our family met for some food and a chance to cstch up (even celebrate a birthday). The venue on a cold, wet and occasional snow flurries was warm and welcoming. As this was during the week we had anticipated it would be quiet. The bar area had the open fire blazing and this set the tone for the meal. Wonderful smells and a homely atmosphere. We were directed to the dining room and offered refreshments while the remainder of the party were awaited. The menu offered a wide selection and could meet all our needs. An emphasis was made about allergies as one of our party had multiple and the food delivered was tasty but also tastefully presented. The fish was succulent and the batter was delightully crisp. Plenty of food on the plates which were all emptied by our group. A wonderful venue, great staff and heavenly food. We will be back again
