Our family met for some food and a chance to crash (also to celebrate a birthday). the place on cold, wet and occasional snowflakes was warm and welcoming. beca... read more Our family met for some food and a chance to crash (also to celebrate a birthday). the place on cold, wet and occasional snowflakes was warm and welcoming. because this was during the week, we had expected it to be quiet. the bar...the surface had the open fire-extinguishing and that made the ton for the meal. we were directed to the dining room and offered refreshments while the rest of the party was expected. the menu offered a large selection and could meet all our needs. a focus was placed on allergies, as one of our party had several and the delivered foods were presented delicious, but also tastefully. the fish was succultivated and the teig was deliciously crisp. many foods on the tellers that were all emptied by our group. a wonderful place, great personal and heavenly eating. we will be coming back

I had lentil soup and fish and chips on the first visit and prawn cocktail and stroganoff on the second. the lens head was particularly fabulous.

It would greatly benefit the es... read more Unfortunately, the service was not up to par at this restaurant. The staff appeared to lack proper training and professionalism. It would greatly benefit the establishment if they brought in experienced professionals to train their staff. The food was good, but at the high price point, it should be expected. Despite visiting shortly after they opened and hoping for improvements, the service had not gotten any better when we revisited. I suggest seeking advice from competent managers in the northeast of Scotland, even if it comes with a consultancy fee. It would be worth it in the long run.
