I went to this restaurant for a surprise birthday party. The buffet offerings of savory and sweet dishes were absolutely delicious and there was plenty of food to go around. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. View all feedback.
What ElginGirll doesn't like about Christies Deli:
My friend and I ordered baked potatoes - I had chicken, mayo, and cheese (though there was only a tiny sprinkling of cheese), and my friend had prawn. I poured the coleslaw over my potato, only to find out it was spoiled! When I told the waitress, she brought me a chicken and bacon sandwich (my friend wouldn't order anything else), but the bread was stale. I was too embarrassed to say anything, and we ended up paying... View all feedback.

I visited the deli for a simple order of an iced latte, but was disappointed with my experience. It took a long time to make the coffee and the staff seemed disorganized. I was asked multiple times by different staff members about my cake order, even though they were all in the same small area. The woman who made my coffee in the back also asked me twice about my syrup. When the drink was finally ready, it was lukewarm and had no milk, only the color of espresso. It was watery and seemed to be missing the ice completely, with particles dissolving in the drink. Overall, it was a very poor experience.
Having been told about another food place which was closed, we were at a loss as to where to eat, we didn't want to go to ASDA and we were told about the deli. We arrived just before the lunch rush and my aunt, nanna and I all had paninis (they had soup and panini). As a vegetarian, it is always good to have mozzarella, pesto and tomato as a panini which I love. So many places are just cheese and tomato. It was nice to have something I love and there were plenty of options for alternative milk. When we finished our dinner, the place was quite busy with people. Will go here again.
Nothing special, first coffee was look warm, second cup lovely and hot but seemed to be missing the coffee it was so weak.Staff not the friendliest,my two year old grandaugher kept saying hello every time they walked past the table, only to be ignored.Staff were very young,so perhaps a bit of customer service training wont go amiss.will no be going back for a long time.
Met friends for coffee etc. It was busy. Nice scone and coffee. I believe the soup was nice. We popped onto gift shop and found it quite pricey.. some of the items were a bit samey and some of the items were more expensive than other gift shops. Used to love the garden centre but it caters more for the younger people in the large play area and disappointed in selection of plants.
