Adolpho's
Description
Adolpho's Chippy in Elgin finds itself at a crossroads as customer experiences become increasingly mixed. While some patrons commend the restaurant for its delicious fish and chicken suppers, others express frustration over underwhelming portion sizes and inconsistent service. Complaints highlight issues with soggy batter, reheated chips, and delayed attention from staff. Although the food quality shines through at times, particularly with the fish, recent visits suggest a decline when young staff are on duty. Ultimately, while Adolpho's has the potential to delight, inconsistency may deter loyal customers from returning.

Partner went in to order, was left standing for like 10 mins without acknowledgment had to ask them if he could order. Order was finally made, on collection of order partner was giving a supper which was fine and then just a batter burger without bun or cheese, even though he asked for a single battered cheese burger. Usually this place is great however past few times when it’s youngsters working there’s always a problem.
Never had a problem the few times I’ve been before and ordered chicken fillets... but this was a fish supper! My child eats bigger portions than this! Disgusting that I paid around £6 for this! Husbands was the same. Won’t be back! Absolute daylight robbery!
I definitely wouldn’t return here, the chips were soggy yet under cooked, the chicken was hard to bite into and the flavour wasn’t nice at all.
