Returned after a reasonable meal a couple of weeks earlier. Ordered a pasta dish containing prawns. Were advised that due to prawn shortage caused by "white spot" there would be additional cost. Managed to find three small prawns in the dish and was charged an extra $4. That equates to about $30 per kg extra over the normal price for a kg of prawns. Give me a break! View all feedback.
I don't typically like to complain, but the food I ordered from this restaurant is the worst takeaway I have ever had. The crab and prawn pasta was not only poorly cooked...
I usually wouldn't complain but the food I ordered is by far the most disgraceful takeaway I have ever had .
The wood fired pizzas are very good at this place ! Tried the meat lovers , Margherita & chicken avocado and all were good !For entrees we tried salt and pepper squid & the haloumi salad ) Reasonable prices with drinks around $50 pp will come back when in that area Must try the " snickers tart "
I revisited Davo's for lunch this afternoon after 4 years. I had a friend with me who was here for the first time.I recalled their mains and desserts were generally healthy portions but reasonably priced and we decided to go with the "Lunch Specials" which were $10/- each but with smaller portions. We shared a "Meat Lovers Pizza" and the "Spaghetti Con Limone" - the latter comes with Tiger Prawns, Smoked Salmon, Semi Dried Tomatoes, Chilli and Lemon. Both dishes were top notch and washed down with some chill Aussie beers. We were actually quite full and pleased we opted for smaller servings under the lunch special theme.Davo's has an extensive menu including a range of starters, salads, pizzas and pasta, as well as mains comprising veal, chicken, steaks and seafood, and mouth watering desserts. We shared a Tiramisu which is their signature dessert and turned out to be an excellent choice.Davo's is fully licensed but allows BYO for wines only.A homely atmosphere with impeccable service. The place was well patronised when we visited.

We ordered two starters plus 4 individual mains and all the dishes were superbly cooked and presented. The standout for me was the antipasto plate for two as it was a generous size. The restaurant is probably more suited to family dining as opposed to a quiet dinner for 2 as the noise levels are on the high side during dinner. The only thing I was not happy about was the beer i ordered was not cold enough but it did ruin the overall experience. Looking forward to our next visit.
