Selma's Texas Barbecue - Moon Township

Very good ribs and fast service, we are always able to get in 10 minutes or less. They have a very good selection of Bbq sauces, and they go with their St. Louis ribs. I went to Selmas since I moved to the moon. Like Yogi Berra once said that there is no one left

Juicy, smoky BBQ! The interior of Selmas is decorated with metal signs and old pictures, a great setting for some BBQ. Order at the counter, chop the chefs and prep in sight, and find a table loaded with six different sauces. I tried the two meat dinner for $15.99, selection of ribs and brisket together with fries and a side salad. Soon the Selma staff handed over to me a Fiesta-ware platter, which is loaded with meat at least three centimeters high, a maize muffin that hangs for love life. The ribs were filled with meat, not too fat, juicy and smoked, a slight dusting of spices above. The original Memphis sauce was my favorite on the ribs due to its balance of vinegar and tango taste, but the Carolina Senf was also a standout under the ketchup-based amount. The brisket was thick cut, and all six sauces in moderation each complicated the smokey aroma of the meat well. The freshly cut frits, fried in peanut oil, were somewhat thinner than I usually like fresh cut frits, but they tasted good. Overall, I am sure that some guests at the menu prices scoff, but given the quality of food and decent atmosphere and service, I found the costs fairly fair for BBQ. I already make plans to return next week!

It's great to have authentic BBQ in town! The ribs are always the hit at any event I've made! Great people, great food!

Small very local feel. Very good tender bbq. Pulled pork and smoked turkey were good. Sides were unremarkable.
