We traveled up from Brisbane for a wedding, and it was truly wonderful. The venue is stunning, with ample parking available. The wedding took place in a lovely function room upstairs, complete with a deck that offers a lovely view of the marina. The food was delicious, and we really couldn't find anything to complain about. We highly recommend Pier 33 if you're in search of a function space.
We wandered in after a late afternoon swim at the beach. Even though bookings were heavy, they found us a table and took great care of us. We shared a bottle of bubbles while we waiting for our share plates. We selected the beef, pumpkin, cauliflower and broccolini dishes. They were all sensational and it was such a delight to share food. The pumpkin was outstanding. I think I will come back just to eat that.
We visited Pier 33 last night for dinner. We were blown away with the food the combinations, the flavours, the taste absolutely amazing!!!! The service was incredible, the layout and interior design looks fabulous and we will defiantly be back!
I absolutely loved it! The decor is breathtaking, the food is incredible, and the staff is friendly and cheerful. The location is fantastic too! We were really impressed with the ‘share’ style menu. We ordered several items from the snack menu to share, and we barely had any leftovers. It’s such a better approach than large main courses that often lead to food waste! The kids enjoyed it as well, and they were warmly welcomed, unlike at many other places along the coast. Congratulations to the owners, managers, and staff—you're all doing an outstanding job!
We had a delightful afternoon at Pier 33. The food was both enjoyable and intriguing. We opted for shared plates so we could sample a wider variety of flavors. The soft shell crab bun was a particular highlight—absolutely delicious! The wine selection was excellent, and our waitress was attentive, ensuring our glasses were always filled with both wine and water. Even after we finished our meal and wine, she continued to refill our water glasses while my friends and I chatted. It was a wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable experience. Thank you!

The food and service were excellent, but the noise level was a bit overwhelming.
We were so so disappointed with the food. We came a year ago and had the prawn roll which was amazing and we came back for those. The rolls tasted stale and the prawns and filling tasteless. My kids had the fish and chips and the fish was absolutely tasteless, probably the worst fish I have ever tasted. The crab linguine was also the worst I have tasted, it was so fishy and really not nice. The mushroom risotto was the only good meal and was delicious. Sadly would never come back
The staff and service were outstanding and incredibly helpful. The waitress had excellent knowledge of the menu and provided a thorough explanation of the options.
We had lunch at Pier 33. The venue was light and airy with plenty of parking. Food was excellent and staff were friendly and attentive. We’ll be back.
Staff were helpful. Meals were generally good, quite expensive. Noise level was unpleasant even though restaurant was not busy. Had great difficulty hearing conversation on our table. Would have been more pleasant sitting outside. Possibly a meal in the afternoon overlooking the water would be lovely.

Great venue/scene for afternoon drinks to start, followed by dinner. the menu is quite limited, but eating is delicious. would be good if they included a few chicken options.
Dinner for birthday. the food and the service were exceptional. location is fabulous, but the restaurant was extremely loud and was difficult to have a conversation. Unfortunately, all doors were closed to the outside by the weather. suggest that the owner can look into the installation of a retractable brand with sides.
Our experience this year was outstanding and so much better than last year (2022). We had very professional and friendly servers, especially Emily. Nothing was too much trouble and she engaged with all of us, making appropriate suggestions if we had questions. The seafood platter was divine! Highly recommend. We will be back next year! Thank you all for a lovely evening. So lovely to have great food, great service and a beautiful atmosphere. Keep doing what you’re doing!! Thank you.
Service was excellent staff we’re very attentive however I was quite disappointed with the food. It didn’t present like anything in the Instagram photography- which made me wonder if it’s a new chef or new owners. The food was very average unfortunately.
Difficult to have conversation. The decor looks great but something needs to change to mitigate the noise levels. Service was slow (1:40 for mains to arrive) so we just made it back to car on 2 hour parking (restaurant carpark full). No table water other than a glass on arrival I went to the bar to order 2nd drinks as staff busy (I did wait a good while beforehand). I’ll admit it was peak holiday period (week 1 Jan) but I’m sorry to say this was our 2nd attempt to support a local venue in our home region after disappointment the first time.
