I come here a couple of times a year, I should come more often. The chocolate is amazing. The rest is too. It's quieter than Dori's, which is next door and always packed. The quality, however, is a cut above. P.S. Anyone who says the chocolate is bitter, etc., has clearly never tasted real hot chocolate. It's not like Ciobar...
Went for breakfast. The place is divided into two sections: at the entrance, you 're greeted by a counter selling mini pastries, cakes, and pastries, while a little further along is the cafeteria with a wide selection of pastries. Just beyond the counter is the open-plan kitchen, and I must say, this is always a nice choice. Watching the pastry chefs at work is always a pleasure and a guarantee of the artisanal quality of the product offered. The croissants were delicious, well-leavened, as was the cappuccino, perfectly creamy. The coffee was also good. To my surprise, I discovered it 's also a small coffee roaster, a specialty coffee place, as they call it these days. The place, despite being spacious, unfortunately doesn 't have a good table layout, which makes it a bit too close together and uncomfortable. Good value for money.
I don't know about the pastry shop, but the coffee or hot chocolate with cream are very good, especially the cream! The staff is very kind.
From the web I learned about the Bona pastry shop in Monza, reviews were talking about one of the best pastries in the city. I decide to buy at the counter 10 baba small to rum. Apart from the stratospheric price well 20 euros i.e. 2 euros each) the baba were practically unmangiable, rum straps to so far that I had to throw them. I don't know if it was a mistake or that's the standard of baba produced by the pastry shop : Not to mention the crazy price of € 42 per kilo)
