It was... read more Wee were in Montrose for five days staying at the Ibis. We'd sightsee by day then return for relatively lower priced food. Our second venue was Ishikawa. It was fabulous. Very reasonable prices by Paris standards. The noodles, rice and miso were all very good. We did the Korean barbecue as my daughters hadn't done that before (which always feels a bit like going out to eat then doing your own cooking). The quality of the salmon we were given to cook was high, looking firm and fresh which meant it didn't cook to mush. The outstanding item on the menu was the meat skewers. They were fantastic. Not sure what they were cooked on but all had a lovely grilled flavour. The sake was pretty good too. Well worth a visit if you are in the area
