I went here on a whim on a hot summer night with the boys and got treated to a perfect meal of grilled fish, a number of appetizers and a dessert platter with excellent service by the owner and some great drink. At tax tip included 90 per person I consider this feast (with abundant booze) to be one of my best dinners in Montreal ever. View all feedback.

Went early on a Saturday night. Lovely ambiance (but was a bit chilly inside.) Terrific waiter. Vegan pumpkin soup was delicious. The appetizer of Moroccan Cigars with beef was flavourful, but a bit greasy. My husband ordered the chicken pastilla (pot pie.) Beautifully presented with...More View all feedback.
This restaurant is definitely worth a visit for their pitchers! I tried the bourbon lemonade, which is their top-selling pitcher, as well as the tonic botanique.
Last week, we held our office Christmas party at this restaurant. The only positive aspect was that we had our own private area in the back.
I have visited this restaurant twice now. It is a great spot to grab a meal and a drink, ideal for a date. However, be prepared to spend some time there.
We had tickets for the 25th Anniversary of Les Miserables at the Rialto and arrived early to find a place to eat. By chance found a parking spot in front of this restaurant -- read the menu which seemed inviting - and gave it a try. The host was extremely gracious....from the start when we were looking at the menu....and even though the restaurant was not yet open for dinner he offered us a place to sit etc. Throughout dinner, every request was met with "it is my pleasure" or some other welcoming phrase. This is such a nice change from the usually inattentive and rude waitstaff we find all over Montreal. There are many healthy choices on the menu -- and this is important to us. There are vegetarian and some vegan choice as well. I had the Green Fava beans in cumin as the starter. This is one of the very best dishes I have had ever, The sauce I think had lemon with the cumin -- it was so fresh and so full of flavor -- truly delicious! This is good dish to share with a group while you each order some other starter for yourselves. My husband had the soup - a pureed vegetable - maybe broccoli - I forget - he loved it. We each ordered the kefta burgers -- fabulous carmelized onions, sweet bun, served with nice home made fries, marinated vegetables, and their home mayonnaise (I do not eat mayo so cannot comment on that part.) We had expected the meat to be spicy and it was not. It comes with harissa mayo on the burger -- which I did not take -- but this might have added some spice. Other menu choices were sole with a tomato topping, vegetarian potpie..etc They had nice desserts but we did not try them as I am not eating dairy....but there is a date cake, pancakes with honey, halva mousse with fig...and these sound interesting. The decor is fresh and lovely in a cobalt blue and bright yellow. The prices are very reasonable. Try this restaurant. You will feel as if you have been transported to Morrocco.
Well received, I really liked the ambiance of the restaurant, feels like a ray of sunshine in the middle of Winter. We organised our christmas party there, the food was simple and delicious. The Chef was willing to accomodate everyone, and the final touch with doughnut and mint tea was perfect. Fairly priced, no pretention. A safe bet for a night out with a group of friends.
