Service was very good and the saké sommelière was excellent but cocktails weren’t that good, sushi was ok and there were SO MANY fruit flies in the restaurant that we were constantly swatting them away from our drinks and food, even though it was very early in the evening and only one other table was being served. The experience was amazing. The interior design is very chill and classy. We started off with a drink (I totally recommend the Ryu Sour, it was excellent! Then we ordered the small Tour de fruits de mer. Everything from the oysters to the sauce to the sashimis was fresh and tasteful. We also ordered the Baked Crab Handroll and the black truffe dumpling that I recommend too. They were literally melting in my mouth! As for the makis, we loved the Mr. Maguro, the Hamachi, the Ora King and the Miso Black. The Paradise was pretty ordinary to me.They have a great selection of fresh fish and the service was very friendly and fast. It’s one of the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to. Definitely a great fancy restaurant for a celebration.

Wonderful experience at ryu! shortly before we went to the restaurant, someone had recommended this place very and it lived it definitiw up to the expectations! we sat on the back where there are lounge seats and had a very warm ambiente (some people could find it too dark). for the food we had the oysters, 12 pieces nitrile plated, 4 types of hand rolls (toro, truffle salmon, mr maguro and skalopptrüffel). everything sushi was amazingly delicious, especially recommending toro and scallop truffles. server was also very nice and helpful. overall it was a great experience to visit from toronto, but the only thing I will say is that due to the high-quality ingredients, the prices are very high, so they are mindful of what they order and they cannot leave completely!
I had an excellent meal in ryu griffintown. the fish was fresh and tasty and the service was excellent. they also have an amazing selection to sake. concerning vibe and decor, so I felt like in tulum between wood and low lighting dark decoration and the incredible deep house in the background. will be definitiw back
Ryu Peel was great. Service was super. Recommendations by the server for cocktails and scotch perfect. Food and ambience the best!
