The majority of the menu is gluten-free, but it is not labeled as such. The hostess approached our table to explain which items could not be made gluten-free and double-checked that everything we wanted was safe for us to eat.
It's a good thing my son likes steak because it makes it easier when dining out to find food that is safe for him. We had a nice safe meal at The Keg when we were in Montreal. They did not give us a GF menu, but instead had him look over the regular menu and they would adapt the dishes to work for Celiac. Since they don't have a dedicated fryer, they offered to oven bake his fries. All in all, it worked out perfectly. I appreciated the extra step of having the manager come to the table to confirm for us that they understood the need to avoid cross-contamination in the kitchen and that my son's order would be safe for Celiac. Definitely recommend.
My partner and I went for a late night dinner in August. The waiter was very attentive when I mentioned that I have celiac disease. The manager came over shortly after we placed our order to reassure me that my meal would be prepared separately to avoid any cross contamination. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly to my liking.
Absolutely amazing! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and even sent the manager to check in on me! He knew all the ingredients in the food I ordered. Totally put my mind to ease and I definitely enjoyed my food. Would highly recommend this steak house and would go back again!!
