What jeremy doesn't like about La Caverne:
Verify your receipt, I got 1 small sparkling water with my food and he seemed disapointed I didn't order alcohol and he had charged 8 before taxes, when I ask about it, he changed it for the normal price of 5 . When it's time to pay, the waiter is over you for the tip before you even put the tip. They should back away and let me tip and put my nip in privacy. Careful if you're a tourist. On the terminal, they put: 15... View all feedback. What Shaniya Berge likes about La Caverne:
6 of our family members came from the city on a Friday night and managed to find a jewel of a restaurant in Old Montreal called La Sauvagine. We were all very satisfied with the service and the food. The two gentlemen who serve us were professional and helpful. She recommended an excellent choice that was not disappointed. The food was served quickly and every dish was hot and tasty. read moreLa Sauvagine in Old Montreal offers impeccable service, with a mention of the knowledgeable waiter, David. The food received mixed reviews, with some dishes like the dorade fish and scallops being praised, while others like the foie gras were disappointing. The wine selection was found to be acceptable given the price. The restaurant has a classic decor best suited for older generations. The terrace was loved by visitors, with great views and a beautiful setting. The steaks were cooked perfectly, though some found the seasoning a bit salty. The staff was friendly and accommodating, according to multiple reviews. Overall, La Sauvagine is recommended for a fine dining experience in Old Montreal.

If you have nothing to do all day and enjoy being ignored by the waiter when it comes time to pay, this is your place. It's really a shame, because the
