What User doesn't like about Restaurant Ethan:
This is the first Chinese restaurant I tried when visiting Montreal Chinatown. Its preparation of Cantonese cuisine is not impressive. The pan-fried noodles was not pan fried at all and served more like lo mein. They also do not serve real authentic wonton in this shop. However their different version of the wonton dumplings do not taste bad. This place does have big portion and fast service. To some folks, that is v... View all feedback. We ordered to eat for me and two friends, we were served very quickly, and what food. We took combo 2, with a small soup each. All is good. everything. no false steps, excellent quality, very pleasant and well advised service. I'll be back there on every trip on Montreal. View all feedback.

read moreEthan Restaurant in Montreal's Chinatown offers generous portions at reasonable prices. While some dishes may be hit or miss, the freshly made savory rice crepes are a must-try, along with the red bean ice cream dessert/drink. The staff is attentive, especially William, and the Dimm combo keeps the delicious food coming. Service is fast despite the busy atmosphere. Overall, a great place for lunch. The restaurant accepts credit cards for transactions over $8, and offers a variety of dishes such as General Tao's chicken and seafood chow mein. Guests have enjoyed the Shanghai noodles and wonton soup, although some found the roasted duck too spicy. The restaurant is bilingual and provides good value for money.
