Some of the best Japanese food I had in a while! It is really delicious and the prices are great for the quality of food. The cocktail I had was also delicious! It was rum and peach, but you couldn't taste the rum at all View all feedback.
What Leila Z doesn't like about Osmo X Marusan Café-terrasse:
It’s okay. I think the chicken curry was very delicious, however the portion is small for 15$ which is disappointing. The space is beautiful, not very well cooled though so you might be hot on hotter days there. Iced tea is really nice! The main drawbacks were how packed the place is and how expensive it is for the amount you’re getting. Beautiful place but didn’t find it to be worth the money personally View all feedback.
Savory quick meals and ideal spot for students to work on their laptops. The sandwiches were delicious (especially the shrimp one! The egg sandwich was on the heavier side. The miso soup was slightly too salty, but the curry dish was perfection. I do not recommend going with young children because there are no high chairs available (there's even a decibel meter measuring the level of noise . Not the most family-friendly spot but yummy nonetheless.
We heard that they had good food and coffee so we stopped by. We ordered both karaage and tamago sandos. The two sandwiches were looking absolutely amazing and the taste was pretty good. But, not going to lie, the curry was the best. The iced americano was good and I heard so many compliments about the hojicha white chocolate, so we got that on ice, but I’m still not too sure about it. Many people did compliment the hot version, so I guess it might be different when on ice. We did order too much food and had to get a takeout box. The worker there was very nice, gave us the box and stickers to decorate.
Fun, young, hip concept of a cafe. We went because of the Japanese curry, which can be a bit challenging to find in Montreal. We ordered the katsu and the kaarage curries. Both were very very tasty but not quite your traditional Japanese curry sauce (head to Marusan at Time-Out Market for the traditional kind. There noticeable bits of ground meat which was more reminiscent of a Japanese spaghetti type of sauce, still very enjoyable though! The matcha latte here was super good if you’re just looking for a hot beverage.
Cool space with a nice vibe and good service. They give you a number after you order and bring the food to your table. The tamago sando was delicious! The bread was soft and slightly sweet, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the fried crust gave them a nice contrast of textures. The bechamel complemented the whole thing very well. Would definitely order again and try other menu items.
Went here last for lunch and to work for a few hours with a friend and we loved it and will definitely go back. We shared the Katsu Sando and a Tamago Sando, and both sandwiches were delicious! The staff is great too, very friendly. We also spent a couple hours working after lunch and it is a great place to be productive. The tables along the side are a little small for two people to work at but we managed. Unfortunately, the tables in the middle don't have access to power outlets. That would make it a pretty ideal location for a work-café. But overall, highly recommend for every one to check out!
