What User doesn't like about Mon Nam:
Went for lunch and food was okay, nothing special or spectacular. We had Lo Mein noodles with shallots (really onions) and ginger, shrimp with vegetables, and tea. I was disappointed by the caliber of food at lunch. Maybe dinner is better? Too many other restaurants in Chinatown to try, so I will not be returning for a repeat chance to redeem themselves. We've been going here for years with our company. Every time we go we always ask if they have razor clams and most times they say no, but if you're lucky enough to have then order them. Order the ginger shallot lobster, salt-and-pepper shrimps, the Thai seafood soup, and their duck. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant offers a mix of quality and disappointment. While the food during lunch was unremarkable, the establishment is open late and offers decent takeout options. Regulars recommend specific dishes like ginger shallot lobster and salt-and-pepper shrimp. The ambiance is cozy and prices are reasonable, though parking is a challenge. Overall, it's a reliable spot for enjoying tasty Vietnamese cuisine in a clean setting. While the restaurant has potential for improvement, especially during lunch hours, there are other options in Chinatown to explore.
