We've been going here for years with our company. Every time we go we always ask if they have razor clams and most times they say no, but if you're lucky enough to have then order them. Order the ginger shallot lobster, salt-and-pepper shrimps, the Thai seafood soup, and their duck. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mon Nam:
Went for lunch and food was okay, nothing special or spectacular. We had Lo Mein noodles with shallots (really onions) and ginger, shrimp with vegetables, and tea. I was disappointed by the caliber of food at lunch. Maybe dinner is better? Too many other restaurants in Chinatown to try, so I will not be returning for a repeat chance to redeem themselves. My company and I have been frequenting this restaurant for years. Whenever we visit, we always inquire about the availability of razor clams. Although they often say no, if they do happen to have them, be sure to order them. I highly recommend trying the ginger shallot lobster, salt-and-pepper shrimp, Thai seafood soup, and their duck.
Excellent food, service and value. Authentic Chinese food with a wide selection. Portions are huge! Everyone leaves with leftovers
We wanted to eat in Chinatown and had no idea where. My husband went in the grocery and asked for advise. They recommended this resturant without hesitation. We were there before and had lunch. Meal included hot tea, egg roll or spring roll, soup,...entree with rice for per person. We were impressed. It was all hot and fresh. We were surprised at how lacking the ratings are and would probably have missed out if we had access to trip advisor at the time. Clean and modern inside.

Excellent food for a very reasonable price, opened late, convenient The ambient is nice and clean The only problem is that there is no parking, but in Monteal, very rare restaurant has parking
