I went there to have lunch in a weekday without many expectations, but I got really surprised. The place is great and the waiter was nice and polite. I ordered a vegetarian option of the table d'hote (entrée, main dish and dessert). It was around $10 and the food was delicious! View all feedback.

Beware of their lunch scam! First off, the food is actually very good- naan is excellent. But if you go during lunch time, be careful: the menu says rice or naan. We said we'd like naan, and assumed the implication was that we didn't want rice. They brought our food with rice on the plate, we didn't say anything, thinking it was included. Just a short walk from the Snowdon metro station, my companion and I arrived early at this restaurant on a peaceful Sunday evening. We decided to try all of the vegetarian dishes on the menu.
The food was extremely tasty! The portion sizes were a bit smaller than anticipated, though.
I have been a patron of this restaurant since it was known as Sitar. Over the years, I have noticed that the ownership of the restaurant has changed multiple times.
Best food I have ever tasted. I could not stop eating (that is an issue) : it was heavenly. Reasonable, excellent service and staff was very helpful! Quiet and not noisy (which i like) Wonderful neighborhood delight!
My husband and me got a hint for the Masala Palace from a friend. Otherwise we would never have noticed this place in the basement which lookes a bit shady from the outside and actually from the inside as well (it's not really a restaurant to feel cozy). We ordered the AA combo as takeaway and were blasted from the unique taste of every part of it. I ordered a looooot of indian food in my life and it was a always between ok and gros (I have to say that this always was in Germany, maybe that's a reason for it). Well, the Masala Palace really stands out. We ordered two more times after that, the BB combo and the CC, and seriously all of it was amazing. It was not just tasty, everything was totally different, so many flavours. We will order again and again :)
