Better then average Greek food with huge servings size. The food was excellent and made from scratch as far as I can tell. The prices are fair and you won't come out still hungry. Easy to access from Highway 15. View all feedback.
What Aurelie Kshlerin doesn't like about Marathon Souvlaki Restaurant:
Was there for lunch with friends. Was expecting roasted greek potatoes with my souvlaki, ended up with frozen fries. Rice was bland, souvlaki good and cooked just right. Not bad but ordinary. Expected more from a souvlaki place with table service, not cafeteria like place. Prefer la Casa Grecque or le Vieux-Duluth. View all feedback.
Tried Souvlaki after my mother in law kept telling me how amazing it is (yes, she loved it so much and wants to name my future daughter that) We went to
Great place to visit with kids, the service is extremely fast, food is fresh and everything I tried was very good.
I've been here a few times and let me tell you this Greek restaurant does not disappoint!! This place is always packed.
When we lived in Montreal we considered Marathon to have the best souvlaki in town. We returned to taste their unique combination of tatziki, grilled meat and pita. Service was blindingly fast and the portions are still large, but the souvlaki itself was nothing special. We were disappointed.
Went for a late lunch because of location, low cost and ease of parking. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Food was below average. No lamb choices. Pork souvlaki was overlooked and dry. Tzatziki was good but fries were disappointing. Greek salad also average at best. I'd choose another Greek fast food choice next time.
