Outstanding meal that would be quite acceptable in fancier place....this place has a pub like atmosphere....prices were around $25. per main. Was very impressed, though the cauliflower wings we started with would be better with crunch. vs. soft..and sauce was too sweet....On the other hand we loved the fish...great kick....and great mango topping.A neighbourhood resto that surprised us by the presentation! Went in there for a quick drink at night cause it looked like a legitimate place.Ordered a hemingway daiquiri at the bar and it was really bad, i just can’t understand how you can mess up a drink that much everything that could’ve been done bad was done bad.Way too much and artificial lime (non acceptable standards for a bar), drink was shaken in front of me for about two seconds very poorly (just unacceptable specia... I am in Montreal for business and I stopped in here for dinner which was excellent in every way! The draft beer was cold, the service superb and the steak salad, excellent! The hanger steak was perfectly cooked medium rare with a nice crust on the outside. My server was new, so sorry I forgot your name, but thank you for personal, professional service! When I come back to Montreal (I love your city! I will be back! Merci!
Our group enjoyed the atmosphere. The server was very warm and friendly too. Our drinks were tasty enough, my wife and her friend had a sangria cocktail and I had a beer.Unfortunately this is where the good times end.We agreed on the Roasted Buffalo Cauliflower to wet our palettes. At $9, and considering the prices on the rest of the menu, I should have tempered my expectations. We were brought a plate of the smallest pieces of cauliflower I’ve ever been served. It felt as though someone had a chopped up cauliflower for another table and then swept the crumbs in to a plate for us.On to my Vegan Burger. At its price point of $26, I was hoping to see a burger overflowing with toppings and sauce but I was presented with thin tomato slices, very little lettuce and a few drops of sauce on the bun. The Impossible patty itself was generously sized but it was 90% of the whole burger. We, unfortunately, didn’t feel any love in their food and that instead we were being charged a premium because of its location in the Monkland village.
It’s a nice neighborhood bar, with good drink options and bar food. Their specialty is the fried chicken that is to die for. The wings are also very delicious ?Staff is very friendly and that is a huge plus nowadays
So soooo delicious! The vibes were immaculate. Loved the staff they make you feel at home, nothing is a bother for them and they were willing to accommodate my dairy and gluten allergy! Thank you guys!
This fantastic dinner spot is a must-visit for locals. The fried chicken and burgers are outstanding, and don't forget to try the appetizers - the Brussel sprouts and duck wings were exceptional! The bartenders also craft delicious cocktails. It's definitely worth a visit.
