We live on the other side of town, but this restaurant has always been our go-to place to order from. We've been ordering from them since we moved to the neighborhood in 2018. However, something has changed recently and we are disappointed that our favorite spot is not the same. The last time we ordered, the ribs were quite tough. Eating was okay. I prefer the normal huh. I find the deep fried not so good for the price. good quantities. I didn't like the poutins so much, but it was okay. ribbing is not the kind that simply drops, but fritted with mustard sauce coating. they probably don't want to go here if decoration is a big thing for them, as some parts are due for a renovation.
This is one of those feel good restaurants. It is a no frills restaurant but the food is limited (chicken n ribs) but is spectacular. Most of the business is take out but we were a group of 8 and one of the first tables since covid. Service was friendly. Chicken was juicy and had a hint of Portuguese and the sauce had a hint of Indian. The rib dipping sauces were delicious. Saw the high rankings and it is well deserved.
Odds and chicken! It's a classic of the east of the watch.
Tasty food. Nice portion for the coq poutine. Tandoori taste I believe. Was a nice change. Friendly and quick.
A really good restaurant in the east end that not a lot of people know about. Their tandoori chicken poutine is amazing!
