I went with my girlfriend on the night of 1st of July 2017, just before the fireworks. We have a very pleasant experience. It feels like a family business, all staff was Mexican. The burrito was delicious and the XX beer soft and light. The decoration and furniture made us feel like in Mexico. The only issue all dishes cost around 20 dollars, although they are big. What User doesn't like about La Guadalupe Mexicaine:
We had multiple plates to taste and share and we enjoyed every one. The Tacos Pollo were particularly good..the enchiladas excellent and the Chilaquiles were very tasty. Little plate of nachos and sauce to start was nice.Prices - not cheap by any measure, so good but not great value especially considering the slow and awkward service. We weren't expecting 5 star, but one man (owner) was alone all night, with over 30... View all feedback.
My husband, friends, and I dined at Guadelupe last night. The service was good, though a bit slow. However, the wait was worth it for the authentic cuisine. The Nachos were delicious, but the portion was small for sharing between two people. I ordered the chicken burrito, which was very tasty, but lacked enough rice and salad. The burrito itself was flavorful, but the chicken had a strange aftertaste. My husband ordered the taco platter, which only came with 3 tacos for $18, making it not worth the price. We ended up spending close to $60 on our meal without any drinks. While the food was good, it was too expensive for what we received. I'm unsure if I would return.
This Mexican restaurant is amazing. I can't stop thinking about the ceviche and guacamole. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is just perfect. It's a small family-owned restaurant, so sometimes it takes a bit longer to get your food, but it's worth the wait. Make sure to go before you're too hungry. The margaritas are delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine.
This is an authentic Mexican restaurant that serves homemade mole and imports many ingredients from Mexico, such as chiles poblanos. Our group of five ordered 3 dishes of chicken with mole poblano, 1 chicken almendrado, and a plate of 3 fried tacos with sour cream. The drinks, particularly the diablo, were delicious. The food tasted just like home to us, as we are Mexican. If you want to experience traditional Mexican cuisine, this is the place to go for a great dining experience in a pleasant atmosphere!
I had the chicken fajita, absolutely delicious, the food just melted in your mouth
Large size restaurant. Basically no decor. Family owned. Lots of groups/families of latinos that eat there. Super friendly smiling service. Good food and drinks. I would recommend if you are a group.
