This place has a fairly good food selection; we ordered pancit (one vegetarian and one with chicken), adobong baboy, and bangus. The pancit and adobo were okay, but the bangus was worth the visit. You should really have the turon for dessert; they place pieces of langka with the plantain, which gives the turon that extra sweetness View all feedback.

Who? Group of 10 What? Birthday dinner When? Sunday evening When you walk in - Eclectic casual feel. When you sit down - We ordered the traditional Kamayan feast (reservation required) so the long table was being artistically prepared before our eyes. The chairs are...More View all feedback.
I came here on a busy weekend day and this place was packed. We had to make reservations days ahead. The staff was so great at taking care of our large party. For brunch, we ordered the asian slaw, fried chicken, rise shine coconut waffles, sisig porc and junior bee meal. Wow all of the flavors were on point. The waffle had that strong coconut flavor, meats seasoned well and the spaghetti was on point. We found ourselves eating everything. The fried chicken and spaghetti definitely went first. The sauces are no joke either. Definitely try their spicy pepper fish sauce type syrup with the waffles and fried chicken. I actually found it so good and I put it on everything. Highly recommend Junior for some quality brunch. I'll definitely be back for dinner to try their signature items.
Service is very very very poor. We waited almost 2 hours for our orders. They served the appetizers within 20 minutes but the rest of our orders is close to 2 hours. We were placed to sit at the back porch of the restaurant, at that time, the temperature dropped to 14 celsius and windy and a bit of rain(July 31, 2021). After 45 minutes of waiting, another group of customers came, they ordered the same foods that we ordered, but they only waited for ten minutes. They served them sisig, crispy pata and the like. So i told the waitress, why can't you serve us the crispy pata and sisig on our table first because we were here for 1 hour waiting and they explained it's a group thing order (in which i don't really get up until now). We were not so worried of ourselves but we were more worried of our kids that it's already past 9pm but did not get their orders yet. The worst thing instead of making up with us with their extra poor service, our final bill is $400 plus, when we investigate the details of the bill, 4 bottles of water contributed much to make it higher. They should treat all customers equal, be it a local or tourist. the system of serving must be first come, first serve. if they think they cannot deliver the food on time, they should inform us. And if they cannot handle a lot of customers (because they reasoned out they have less manpower), then do not accomodate, otherwise like just what happened you will make your customers furious and naturally write you a bad review. It seems you are onlly after of quantity(money) and not quality. This restaurant don't deserve a recommendation nor a rating. if it were to me, i will not give even a 1 star. P.S. Please improve your sisig it's very salty and the ideal sauce for calamari is butter sauce not the black ink that comes from the squid!
In Montreal's Griffintown near lots of art galleries. Funky interior and friendly staff. Clean. The Milkfish with coconut garlic rice was great, especially with the extra sauces. The fried chicken waffle was also very good. Reasonably priced.
Went in for brunch the charred eggplant omelette was unfortunately not edible at all; neither was the garlic fried rice, which was unbelievably dry and crusty. I had left my whole plate, and to my disappointment, I was not asked if maybe it could be replaced with something else, seeing that the plate was practically full. I might have gotten an overcooked portion of rice, but the omelette still tasted awful. Although the people working there are lovely, I don't think I will come back.
Their sisig was a bit overcooked. Kinda disappointed because the food we ordered tasted a bit like The Philippines but salty.
