that was my first time to visit elatos and it will not be my last! positiw: gyro sandwich was extremely tasteful; definitiw one of the best in the city they offer a separate version of the gyro sandwiches (elatos gyro) with fries and senf. embedded in the sandwich. I thought it wouldn't work too well. but it does! I also ordered a black saucer who was very tasty, definitiw not dry (like many other places) prices are... View all feedback.
What Enrico Krajcik doesn't like about Fameux Gyros Elatos:
Had good and bad food here. It depends what you like. Its good just to try or need something quick. The restaurant it self is the pits but its more of a take out kind of place. View all feedback.
The restaurant is small but who needs big? I ordered the combination plate which came with a souvlaki stick, gyro, fries and salad. The souvlaki was outstanding-large pieces of tender pork and I really enjoyed it. The salad was also excellent, crisp lettuce, onions and...tomatoes-I am allergic to cucumbers and don't like feta so they left those off. I was with a group of 15 people so it was great that they could accommodate me. The fries were okay but the gyro meat although it was tasty was dry and had a lot of fat on it. When I go back, and I will, I would order the souvlaki pita since they looked super!!
Tiny place hidden in Park Extension on Jarry near Querbes. Very popular for take out but you can also eat in but it is quite small and simple inside. The cook is right next to the cash and everything is cooked when ordered. You can...also see them cook the food if you stand in the front of the window. Great portions and everything was fresh and tasty. They have souvlaki, Gyro, and they even have burgers and pizza. The plate consists of rice, salad, big fries and your chicken or pork souvlaki. They also have combos Really enjoyed the food here and will definitely go back here vs other greek restos in the area Price was perfect for the amount they give you.
After 25 years of amazing food, it was a sad day for me to find out that Dandelion Deli has closed their doors. It was a staple for me since I've lived in
Special note for Level 5 vegans: request the deli style Dijon mustard for your sandwichLevel 4 vegans may request ketchup instead.
Amazing food. Gyro was delicious. Salad is the best I've had. Huge portions and fast service. Definitely will come here for any future greek cravings.
