The Mixed Kafta Grill was indeed a pleasant surprise during my dine-in visit. Succulent skewers and those garlic potatoes? Divine. Plus, the salad and rice were just right. View all feedback.
What Mujtahid Syed doesn't like about Château Kabab (downtown):
The food was filling and decent. The service was subpar in my opinion and the price is a bit expensive. They charge 15% extra if you order above a certain amount which I find a bit odd. View all feedback.

Delicious mix of grill but didn’t like the chicken kabab , wasn’t delicious)Delicious rice good
Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. A wonderful place to eat an oriental dish. A very welcoming staff that make you feel comfortable and happy. My first meal there was about 10 years ago and I’ve never stopped going since.
I recently had the opportunity to dine at Château Kabab (Downtown), an establishment known for its Iraqi and Persian cuisine, particularly their bargh kebab. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations, and I must say that the food was not up to par compared to other places I have tried before.?️ Mediocre Food Quality:The bargh kebab, which is often touted as a highlight at Château Kabab (Downtown), failed to impress. The flavors were underwhelming, lacking the depth and richness I have come to expect from this dish. The meat itself was not as tender as I had hoped, and the overall presentation left much to be desired. It was disappointing to find that the quality of the food did not match up to my previous experiences at other establishments.? Regular Service:The service at Château Kabab (Downtown) was adequate but unremarkable. The staff seemed disengaged and did not go out of their way to make the dining experience memorable. While they took our orders promptly and delivered the food in a timely manner, there was a lack of attentiveness and warmth in their service. It felt like a run-of-the-mill dining experience without any standout moments.Overall, my visit to Château Kabab (Downtown) left me disappointed. The food quality, particularly the bargh kebab, did not meet my expectations, and the service was average at best. I have had better experiences elsewhere and would hesitate to recommend this establishment for those seeking an exceptional Iraqi and Persian dining experience.Vegetarian options: Salad and samosaKid-friendliness: Kid menuParking: Downtown montreal
Honestly the food was good, but the customer service was lacking- especially from all the male workers. We were asked to move twice after the waitress told us where to sit. They apparently had a large party reservation that was supposed to come 30 mins after our arrival. A few of the male workers came up after we had order and had received the appetizer and started arguing with the waitress and asked us to move- we said we already moved once and we just needed the rest of our food and we’d quickly eat and leave. The male workers proceeded to move tables around us with a lot of scratching noises and paying no attention to our experience- they clearly valued the other customers to come more than us. We felt very rushed to eat and leave and the vibe was unwelcoming. Very disorganized- if you have a big party coming, you should plan it ahead and not seat people in that area from the start or move the tables ahead of time instead of panicking last minute. Although the food was good- the overall experience was ruined.
