What User likes about Cartel:
I wasn't sure what to expect after looking at their menu. The place has a very varied mix of dishes...Mexican and Asian for example. My wife and I shared the beef and pulled chicken taco , both were excellent but the chicken might be too spicy for some. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Cartel:
View all feedback.

read moreCartel offers a unique fusion of Peruvian and Mexican cuisine, with dishes like chijaukay chicken that impress. The vibe is cozy, reminiscent of Cuba, but some find the food disappointing. Highlights include $1 oysters, delicious cocktails, and standout dishes like salmon sashimi and fish tacos. The ambiance is enhanced by pleasant staff and beautiful interior design. While some diners experienced issues with small portions and overpriced lobster rolls, others raved about the exceptional tacos and unique culinary experience. Overall, Cartel is a must-visit spot for those seeking a different take on traditional Peruvian and Mexican street food in Montreal.
