I'm Cuban and it's the only restaurant that tastes like home. I'd say my big mom cooking:) I love it. staff is also very kind. best cuban restaurant in montreal! the more they have huge portions. It would be nice if they opened another one in the city center where they enlarged their premises
As a Cuban-American I always search out Cuban restaurants wherever I travel. I was looking for a lunch place and came across this little gem in the little Italy section of Montreal. The food was authentic, delicious, well presented and cheap. The first time I went I had the ropa vieja, congris, plantains and tostones and the next time I had a delicious sandwich cubano. I would recommend this great little place to anyone interested in Cuban food or just good, inexpensive food. It does get very crowded for lunch and both times I arrived just before it got packed with people. They also do a steady take out business. Beer selection is limited but that was minor. I plan on returning again next time I am in Montreal.
My friend Jesse says it's better Cuban food than most of the meals he had eaten when vacationing in Cuba, that's how good it is ;)Yummy yummy you can't complain because your too happy to bother having any woes when eating there. This food can cure all ailments if ever restaurant food could.
My 3rd time around and this place is between 11$-17$ a plate, Great food but very small place. Will go back! Café Cuba Adresse : 168 Rue Beaubien E, Montréal, QC H2S 1R2 Téléphone : (514) 658-1464
