What alexgurv doesn't like about Au Pied de Cochon:
My wife and I love a good meal and don't have any problem spending a few hundred dollars on dinner if its worth it. The Bison tartare and the maple syrup dessert that we got were by far the highlights of the night. We got the poutine with foie gras, it was fine, but really just poutine with a few bits of foie. We sat opposite the bar so it was a tad loud BUT the food was perfect! We started with foie gras nigiri. Rice was cooked, flavored excellently and the foie gras, which was accompanied with a sweet soy sauce, was heaven. Our orders of osso bucco and shepherd's pie were hefty, tasty and probably the best we've had from all our travels.
