Wilaiwan's Kitchen - MONTPELIER

This is the best Thai food I've ever had, and it's definitely one of my favorite spots in Vermont. The flavors are incredibly nuanced and excellent. The only suggestion I have is that it would be wonderful if they could offer at least one vegan option each week. While they can prepare any dish with tofu, it seems that often their broths and sauces contain meat. The chefs here are extremely talented, and I’m sure they could create some amazing vegan dishes if they wanted to. I believe others would appreciate that option too!

One of the best lunch spots in all of Vermont, or perhaps even the world! The three weekly menu options provide a fantastic variety, and every choice is worth trying. This week, I picked up a jar of their red jalapeño hot sauce, which transformed my otherwise dull midday meal from another place into something ten times better.

The restaurant offers an amazing aroma paired with high-quality ingredients that have a delightful kick! There’s often a line at the entrance, which speaks to its popularity. They feature a selection of three different dishes, available from 11 AM to 2 PM on weekdays, with a new menu every week.

I don't think I had an breakfast this spicy one in my whole life, but it was absolutely worth it. there was a line within 3 minutes of them opening on Tuesday morning. this was the hands down the best food I eat in vermont. from any reason in this condition I had a hard time with this much umami to find this much heart. I do not eat milk and it seems that many VT restaurants are unfortunately heavily relying on milk products for their Yam factor. most other places I found in wt are ok or quite decent, but nothing excellent. wilaiwan's kitchen is excellent. I have eaten the dishes here and said: "Finally, something that is so good." I will definitely come back for more when I get the chance.

This is the most amazing food in all of Vermont. It's like in the movie Ratatouille where the food critic was taken back to his childhood for some of the most amazing flavors experienced in life. They serve the same 3 dishes all week and you could eat them everyday.
