Great Deli food! I tried a few and no one has failed. I can almost say you can't go wrong with any of them. The latest one was the Caprese and it's my new favorite. I ordered a turkey sandwich here that was perfectly fine and fresh and I enjoyed it after removing the thickly cut onions. The service was very friendly and the attendants clearly took pride in their work. They mean well here, but the floor, cabinets, and all parts of the kitchen in the deli area are in terrible condition and do not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time. The room is not crowded and it is pleasant to move around. The staff was always nice, which is usually a heavy consideration for me. I have always felt welcome and will continue to come here to try new things!
I stopped for eggs today. I was in the middle of baking a cake and discovered that I was out (slip! The market was made of eggs, but the guy behind the counter friendly GAVE me 3 eggs from behind (what they use for their deli, I suppose. I was displaced by his generosity and kindness. I will definitely be back! What a great advantage for our neighborhood!
Great sandwich and very nice folks. Beer selection was pretty wide, and they also had lots of local meat options.
