Bear Naked Growler - MONTPELIER

My wife and I stopped in here during some vacation time. We are locals and have seen it for years and decided to stop in after a failed attempt to visit a brewery out of town. I think we both agreed we are glad we made the decision to stop in! Really cool how the selection of beers is available on the TV's using Untapped. They have great selection and sample sizes allow you to try different brews. We were pleasantly surprised with the food as well really liked the air fried onion pedals. The owner was pleasant to chat with and was very laid back. We'll definitely visit again!

Good place to hang out and have a few drinks. Nice selection on tap.

Excellent selection of design beer and apple wine. Floyd (owner) definitely knows his business/beer and cedar. He has some unique things I haven't seen anywhere. The Take away (to go) selection is also great! Nice casual place to have some beer and relax.

Okay folks ..this is a great local place to grab a flight of beers! New owners since April have established a nice selection of brews and simple pub style foods. Some locals provide live entertainment on the weekends. Veterans, public safety and bikers all welcome!

This place has an excellent and huge selection of beers. They even have a dedicated menu for flights. The owner is a nice guy with great knowledge of beer and gives good recommendations. They have a back patio that overlooks the river and waterfall, which is highly recommended. The only drawback was that the ashtrays in the corners smelled of old cigarettes. We didn't try any of the food but I'd recommend this place on the beer selection alone.
