Taco Madre - Montgomery

Excellent authentic tacos! All the meat options are quite good, but my favorites are the steak, shrimp, and carnitas tacos. Reasonably priced and delicious. Update years later: I still love this place! I don't work near here any more, so I don't get here nearly as often, but I'm always glad when I'm in the area and have a chance to grab a bite. They've added some more specialty tacos to their menu, and they're all delicious!

The place is nice, a bit small but clean, and organised. It prices are ok, maybe a bit high than other places. The service is fast and friendly. The food is not bad, is not the best but is not bad, they use very good and fresh ingredients. I dont like that the sauces are individualy packed so eventhough you eat there, you have to take a bunch of them from the fridge.

They have good veggie options but they made their side of beans so small it’s not worth anymore

Food was average but fresh. 3 people $45 too much for tacos and burritos with no drinks.Place could use a remodel just my thoughts. Think a lot of their business is take out. I would try their food again, but just too expensive for Mexican fare.

Steak wasn't seasoned. Skirt steak is a Mexican staple. Season and/or marinate your meat. Anybody can grill a steak and put it in a taco. Take pride in what you do.
