If you're driving through Montgomery, Alabama around lunch time. The place to stop and eat is the Stockyard Grill. It opens just for lunch at 10:30am and closes at 2pm. It's like an old southern diner. It seems to be a favorite local lunch spot. Don't expect nothing fancy on the outside but the food is great on the inside. The menu is simple and good.
