best service I have ever received in new york, and that comes from someone who has worked for over a decade as server! server alex was amazing and went beyond and beyond! she freed my milk, was very pleasant and a true joy. the food was also delicious and the owner even came by to say hi and asked if I needed something. loved the feeling of family and even the regulars were friendly. I called in 3 sandwiches to go, came to the cafe and then waited for an hour. only because they ask me to repeat my order, they never did it. if they can not treat three sandwiches even on a busy day, they should not be in business or have a staff that can handle a hurry. very poor service every time I go here. will never come again that I was wasting. I had a very pleasant and relaxing time at this restaurant. I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the friendly, professional staff. The coffee and food were both delicious. I will definitely be returning in the future.
This is my absolute favorite place to have breakfast any time of the day. When I lived closer, it was a weekend tradition for me to go there. I always order 4 scrambled eggs with American cheese and 4 sides of bacon. My wife always tries the specials and enjoys them, so whether you prefer sticking to your favorite dish or trying something new, this restaurant has options for everyone. Just a reminder, they only accept cash, but they have an ATM inside. Make sure to say hi to the friendly owner and mention that "The Bacon Guy" recommended the place - he will surely appreciate it!
