We had a confirmed reservation with OpenTable at D'Road for Valentine's Day at 6:30 PM, but when we arrived, we were denied a table and told we needed to contact the owner directly. The owner informed us that OpenTable hadn't reached out to her, and as a result, we were denied service. The restaurant was only half full, with many empty tables available. I wouldn't recommend using OpenTable to make a reservation here!

What a wonderful breakfast experience! The owner came by to chat with us and was absolutely delightful. Their passion for cooking and connecting with people was evident in our conversation, as well as in the delicious and hearty food we enjoyed. We tried the crazy eggs served in an iron skillet, and the eggs over shredded bark with black beef. It was quite an experience, to say the least! Overall, this restaurant in Montgomery is a gem, with some incredible offerings and a warm atmosphere.

Disappointed! You start with a nice lady who tells you to take a seat, and then asks you what you want to drink. There are only a few limited choices and you don?t get a menu or any idea what the prices are. She then showed us the food that had beenprepared at the buffet. No explanation about meal options or pricing. We chose a few options from the buffet. The Food was coldand salty. This plate in the picture cost me 24$ I never got a check and was just told to put the card in the machine. Totalrip-off

A gem of a spot! Well worth a try. As authentic as it gets. Wonderful hospitable owner/chef/hostess! Every dish an experience for the tastebuds. I've never had Latin food quite like this before. We felt as though we had been invited to a family's tableat home . There were foodies, groups meeting to catch up and regulars that knew all about that hot sauce, go ahead and ask forthat if you like to amp up the heat. It's good on everthing- well maybe not the Plantains. I had 2 servings of those they wereexcellent. Yuca is available as a side. Don't expect the brisket to taste like a southern bbq it's not. But flavorful none theless soft and carrying a punch) . Metal chairs with burlap ribbon and some neat building materials with a splattering of art ,and sunflowers make the place seem fresh, open and comfortable. We'll be back.
