Big John's Diner - Montgomery

We thoroughly enjoy the food from Big John's Diner. The establishment is nice, bright and clean. The food is cooked hot to order but the less than 10 minute wait was well worth it! We will definitely be going back!!

We ordered these guys thru waiter last night and was not disappointed. We ordered the Big john burger, regular burger, polish dog and hot dog. The sides where fried okra, onion rings and loaded fries. The burgers are some of the best I've ever had, juicy, moist and delicious! The hotdog was off the chain? You wont need to go to the Fair this year to get a polish dog, just go here instead. There hotdog chili is the best! The onion rings tasted very good, they didn't have that burnt taste you get at a lot of restaurants. Can't wait to order again.

Stopped here on my way to Louisiana. I was on the road for about 7 hours and was tired of eating at fast food places or the Waffle House. I had their hot dog with everything on it, absolutely delicious. The fries fresh nice and crisp. The staff was very inviting. The staff made sure i had everything I needed to indulge in the massive chili hot dog. Forks, knives and lots of napkins. Definitely recommend this place for a quick bite. Glad I stopped here instead of sonic.

Very nice. Small and attached to a gas station but serves good food. My wife said the hamburger she had was the best she's ever had. My pork chop sandwich was huge and extremely tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd go back and would recommend Big John's Diner.

I felt like a hot dog yesterday but not one that I could throw-in a stove or even one that I could get from a drive thru. I wanted a summer fair, walking down the street and you spot a food cart, summer picnic kind if hot dog. I was in Montgomery (AL) for a few hours so I googled hot dogs. Several options popped up but I ended up choosing Big John's diner and im glad I did. This was probably one of if not THE BEST hot dog's I've ever had. It was pretty thick compared to most hotdogs but it was cooked thoroughly and still juicy And the toppings were on point. I also tried the hamburger which also tasted amazing as well as the fries and homemade lemonade. It was a tiny bit of a wait but that's because it is cooked to order and not sitting under a heat lamp somewhere so it was well worth it. I absolutely recommend stopping here if you're looking for a tasty place to have lunch! ????
