La Vida Dulce - Montezuma

Just had an amazing lunch at La Vida Dulce. Crustless Quiche was fabulous, the breakfast biscuit with the monkey butter and pineapple ginger jam was to die for, still can’t decide which one was the best! To top it off, we had to try the vegan chocolate chip cookie and the chocolate cupcake with passion fruit curd and chocolate ganache! Everything was delicious. Set in the hills amongst the jungle and the howler monkeys, just a short walk from the Montezuma waterfall, a beautiful ambiance surrounded with tropical plants and to top it all off our beautiful hosts Fiona and Janiell. A wonderful experience whilst vacationing in the Montezuma area! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I came to Coasta Rica for my birthday and had the most amazing chocolate cheesecake, SCONE on my way back to the airport, breakfast everyday and cookies from here. The owner is American and she is fun and relatable to talk to in a foreign country. I wouldn't go anywhere else for desserts in Montezuma !!!! Thank you La Jefa!!! Xoxo, Samara and Daniel

This delightful bakery is a must stop when visiting Montezuma. I loved the little delights Janiel creates. Her passion comes through in every crumb. Great atmosphere. Provecho.

Janiell's bakery is a delight, all her creations are very yummy, look pretty and are full of Janiell's passion and love for baking. Such a great addition to our community, not to be missed <3

How do I say this? Hmm! I would weigh 300 pounds if this bakery was here in Oregon!! Love all the amazing treats that she creates!
